APRIL

4/9 – Unleashing the Power of Your CRM (9am – 12pm) A good Client Relationship Management (CRM) system drives efficiency and growth in your real estate business. A CRM keeps everything for your business organized and easy to find. You can use the search tools within the platform to locate client files easily, from anywhere on any device, giving you more time to focus on your clients’ needs, deliver quality service, and build client relationships. Instructor: Shandra Norman, CE hours – 3 4/9 – Supercharge Your Benefits (1pm – 3pm) A Texas REALTORS® membership brings exclusive discounts and extra perks. This course delves into the affiliate partners and discount programs that assist the license holder both professionally and personally. Attendees will learn how to get more value from membership by taking advantage of the affiliate programs’ products and services that will save them time and money. Instructor: Shandra Norman, CE hours – 2 4/30 – TAHS Certification: United Texas Homebuyer Financing Resources (9am-4pm) United Texas, the anchor of the Affordable Housing Specialist Certification, gives agents the information needed to help clients realize the dream of homeownership. This course will cover low-cost financing, assistance programs, and a host of other options to make housing more affordable and available to all buyers. Partners for this course include the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation, and Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation. MAY

5/7 – TAHS Certification: FHA Lending and Fair Housing (9am – 4pm) The FHA and Fair Housing play major roles in real estate. In this course, you will learn about FHA as an entity, its role in the home buying process and how to best serve clients who are FHA eligible. Agents will learn how the federal loan program’s lending guidelines are directly impacted by the Federal Fair Housing Act. This course explores the areas of law related to the Fair Housing Act and how it applies to the dayto-day encounters of the real estate agent and potential impact on real estate transactions. Instructor: Cassandra Davis, CE hours – 6 5/21 – Using MarketViewer in Your Business (11am – 12pm) The MarketViewer is dynamic data interface that enables agents to explore real estate data and trends in the geographical areas and market segments they choose. MarketViewer provides agents with some of the most comprehensive, accurate real estate data available in Texas. Gather data for multiple real estate market segments including single families, condos and townhouses, apartment statistics and new construction. Plus, agents can also get data from multiple levels — state, city, and county. Instructor: Gabriel Moraa, CE hours – 1 5/21 – REALTOR® Professionalism (1pm – 3pm) Through this overview of REALTOR® Leadership, REALTORS® will learn how local, state, and national leadership work together to further promote the REALTOR® name and brand. 6/4 – Attitude Adjustment: Maximizing Your Results in a Slowing Market (9am – 12pm) The class will address changing an agent’s attitude toward different types of markets and mindsets on cultivating new clients in a changing real estate environment. Sales agents, brokers, and managers will be able to identify key numbers and be able to make the adjustments necessary in those areas to ensure they are meeting the needs of their clients and stay competitive in a slowing market. JULY

7/9 – Brokers Responsibility Course (9am – 4pm) The Broker Responsibility course addresses TREC’s perspective of the regulatory aspects of the management, operation, and supervision of a real estate brokerage firm in Texas. Students will gain an understanding and working knowledge of the law of agency and planning and organization of business entities. Plus they will learn the requirements for written policies and procedures, records retention and control, advertising. Lastly, participants will learn about the recruitment and training of agents, and the anatomy of a complaint filed with Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). Instructor: Mac McFarland, CE hours - 6

  3. Listing Presentation and Signing – Have you even presented to an Investor using Zoom or Webex?  The NCREA team will show you our Virtual Listing Presentation and give you tips on how to create options for your investors so that Business doesn’t stop in this shifting market

  4. Speaking the Language of investors – In today’s real estate market we know that there’s a high chance you will run into an investor.  Do you know what to say?  Can you turn a conversation into an appointment?  This class focuses on the Language of Investors. 

  5. Wealth Building  -- This is a “special” course within the series.  We cover wealth building, and how to invest including review of calculations, identify opportunities and factors you will use as an investor to identify a good deal, the four ways to determine value, real world and hands-on deal analysis, analyzing deals for personal investment and so much more!!

The virtual series class is typically held on Thursdays and is 2-hours in duration.

Introductory to Commercial Real Estate Analysis

This course has become very popular with real estate agents and associations as well as real estate offices.  In this 3-hour course, The NCREA will take you through an introduction of the buyers and sellers’ math. You will discover the difference between before tax and after-tax ROI and how investors use them to identify their next purchase. Learn how to calculate more than just your commission in this amazing introductory class. (This class is a great prep course for the 3-day hosted by The NCREA or to use as practice if you've already received your Certified Real Estate Investment Planning Specialists and National Commercial Real Estate Association Designations)
